My thoughts exactly...

After taking two classes at UWM (Environmental Geography and Oceans), I have realized that things in this world need a little defending. The air can only defend itself for a limited amount of time until its no longer healthy to breath, the trees cannot defend themselves by being cut down, dogs (and all the other animals) cannot always defend themselves from abuse and neglect. I understand why people want to be over in Iraq fighting for our right of freedom (and how they took some of it away from us), but at the same time, I feel that we need to band together and have a War Against Global Warming or the Extinction of Animals. Some, might consider me a tree-hugger or a dreamer, but I feel that if everyone does a little cut back and help out, we will finally be able to unite as a world and have a common goal. My blogs from here on out will be about stories that I found on the Internet, or adventures I partake in (like the protest I went to last Thursday) in hopes that it will get everyone else out to take part in something that will help benefit something other than themselves.
